You've probably seen more than your fill of TV news reports about how carsharing works on various local TV reports. But I gotta say, the British car club StreetCar was the subject of one of the best I've seen in a long time.
Jon Bentley, 'consumer champion' of the British TV motorhead program Fifth Gear went through the process of joining, reserving and taking a trip. A particularly nice part of the segment shows him extending a reservation while his trip is underway using the Invers car computer built-in cell phone connection. Best of all, he was able to get all the extra time he needed - just like in real life, right?
I'll bet this segment didn't hurt Streetcar member recruitment!
