Sometimes you hear people who have just come back from Europe saying, "if only we could buy those cars over here". Well, the other day, I realized you can - the Scion A 4-door hatchback. Benoit has a huge fleet of Toyota Echos and Zipcar has many in their fleet as well. And why not - it gets 31 mpg city/38 mpg highway, has a good sound system as standard equipment, has a great reliability record (unlike those cute VWs) and costs about $12,500.
The Scion A is small and oriented toward the younger set so it might not be the only vehicle you want in your fleet. But overall, very handsome and cute. Any thoughts out there?
